To draw flight is perhaps something like flying. As you add more conscious detail, fix considered lines to the wings, the bird freezes in mid air and plummets from the sky and lies neither alive nor dead on your page. I imagine flight must exist in the wings just as drawing lives in the hand and freedom breathes between the two.
